Aaron B. Wellman is an associate attorney at Ivey, McClellan, Siegmund, Brumbaugh & McDonough, LLP who practices criminal defense. Since beginning with the Guilford County Public Defender’s office in 2007, Aaron has represented hundreds of clients facing criminal charges in the Triad. Aaron is a fixture in courthouses in Greensboro, High Point, and surrounding counties, tirelessly advocating for Defendants charged with anything from traffic offenses and DWIs to felonies such as violent assaults, robberies, and drug trafficking. Aaron has litigated cases in North Carolina District and Superior Courts, as well as the U.S. Middle District of North Carolina and the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Aaron is an active member and former president of the Greensboro Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
